Below is a list of meta data items that you will need to prepare ready for App store submission.
Meta data | Description |
Bundle display name | This is the name displayed under the icon on the home screen. Apple recommends a name of less than 13 characters to make it fit nicely under the app icon when installed. |
App Icon | This should be 1024 x 1024px in size, but is dynamically resized to fit phone screens and can go down to smaller sizes such as 64x64px. It’s worth creating an icon with a primary image on a simple background such as the following: Further details here You also might find these websites useful to preview your icon: https://iosfeeds.com/tools/icon-preview |
App Splash Screen | Using Smorg Studio, ensure that you are happy with your splash screen under the Your App section, here. Note that this will be loaded into the App binary which is then deployed to your developer account. Changes to the splash screen will require a redeployment and resubmission. |
App name | This is the App name as displayed on the Product Page in the App store. There is a theoretical maximum of 30 characters. |
Subtitle | Subtitle that appears under the App name. As defined here |
App Previews and Screenshots | Add at least 1 app screenshot (up to 10), and optional a video app preview. Each app screenshot needs to be in sizes to support both 5.5inch screens, and 6.5 inch screens. These screen resolutions are: 1242 x 2208px and 1284 x 2778px More info here |

Availability | Which countries do you want to sell your app? |
Terms of use | A link to your terms of use page. This page should also include details of how a user should delete their account. |
Privacy Policy | It's important to have an end user privacy policy available from a public site. By default, we will use the Smorg privacy policy available here |
Further notes
The terms of use need to be linked in the app description.
The app description needs to have explicit guidance on what is free vs paid, and pricing.
